Meet The Designer
Drawn to art and the environment, I studied architecture and fine arts at the University of Arkansas- Fayetteville. After graduation, my summer internship in Little Rock opened my eyes to interior design when they handed me a women’s boutique project and let me run with it. Open to new possibilities, design was the perfect combination of a professional discipline and artistic expression.
The first possibility that presented itself was working as a designer for Embassy Suites Hotels. There I found the perfect job for me-custom hospitality design. It was a great fit. Along the way, graduate studies in studio arts graced me with a lot of joy and enriched my life. Staying inspired is essential to creating unique spaces.
Over many years I’ve met great people and was fortunate to be part of standout projects! Every career path has successes and lessons and there’s always more to learn. I’m still designing, always learning, and loving what I do!
One of my favorite quotes:
“The greater danger for most of us is not that our aim is too high and we miss it, but that it is too low and we reach it.” -Michelangelo-
